Lead Generation/Inside Sales Representative

Job Description
As the Lead Generation/Inside Sales Representative, you will be chartered with developing and qualifying new prospects for the field sales organization. You will focus on building a prospect database from several lead generation campaigns, target lists, and marketing efforts. This is an entry-level position with high visibility and collaboration within Sales & Marketing. You will be responsible for:
  • Making frequent outbound calls to filter, qualify, and generate sales opportunities
  • Presenting and articulating the value proposition of S2's technology to prospective customers
  • Managing and tracking potential leads in the contact database through salesforce.com
  • Assisting in compiling a list of prospects from doing market research, Internet searches, and partner networking
  • Achieving quarterly and yearly quotas by consistently developing a prospect funnel
Qualifications and Requirements
B.S./B.A. required; Computer Science, Software or Electrical Engineering preferred.

  • Strong passion for technology and sales, with a high motivation to succeed
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives, managers, and engineers

Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description
As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of quality at S2. You will define strategy, process and execution plans for the quality aspects of the organization. You will also be responsible for developing applications used to automate the verification process of a complex Windows-based product. You will provide direction to your team to find and report defects effectively, and generate process control metrics as needed.

The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for providing the leadership in expanding our quality assurance procedures and policies, and take an active role in release management. You will be responsible for:
  • Developing and implementing a software quality assurance plan
  • Developing and implementing manual and automated software test procedures
  • Developing and implementing an effective quality management metric framework
  • Developing and implementing the product release process
  • Guiding testers toward best testing practices
  • Mentoring and training staff

The Quality Assurance Manager will be a key member of the S2 management team driving process improvement.

Education and Technical Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or Computer Science required; Master of Science a plus.

Software Quality Assurance Lead

We are a leader in automated software verification products and we apply the same philosophy of test automation in-house. We are looking to add an individual to our team who can take a leadership role in managing, monitoring and extending our in-house test assets and test engineering team.

Job Description
As the Software Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of test engineers.
  • Managing the expansion of an ever-increasing set of automated test assets.
  • Maintaining test asset creation policies that enable/encourage development engineers to participate in test asset creation.
  • Designing and implementing new automated test modules as product functionality is added.
  • Analyzing test assets to determine weak and/or untested areas and initiate measures to expand test coverage to address.
  • Transforming written test objectives into new automated test suites.
  • Providing feedback loop to development engineering to ensure testability objectives are designed into new product functionality.
  • Ensuring/measuring the level of quality of every product release.
Education and Technical Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or other engineering discipline.
  • Ability to write and analyze C code.
  • Ability to write and analyze JavaScript, Perl or other scripting language code.
  • 5 or more years of prior experience in software test organizations.
  • Knowledge of QA strategies and test techniques.
  • Proficiency and prior experience with automated test tools or systems.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact with development engineering team members as well as senior management.

Systems Engineer

Job Description
Responsibilities include supporting technical aspects of customer engagement; implementation, validating STRIDE with customer data, preparing a framework for customers, and post-sales support. Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, and be comfortable working in a team and with customers.

Some travel required.

Education and Technical Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 3 or more years experience in embedded software development.
  • Should be comfortable dealing with engineers and customers.
  • Familiarity with typical embedded software development methodologies and processes required.
  • Must have a good understanding of C programming language, especially C function prototypes and declarations.
  • Must be able to easily understand C code written by others.
